"A Series of Unfortunate Events" Movie Critic

Lemme guess. When you read my blog title you remembered a book or a movie entitled "A Series of Unfortunate Events", and you wondered why did I make such title. Then you speculate that I liked the movie or the book so much. And that I had read some of the books and watched the movie a hundred times. And you also thought that I read a lot of online reviews about the book and the movie. And that I had probably endorse the movie to all of my friends. Well... you're right!

And so here's my movie critic.
P.S. Just a reminder this is a movie critic and not a book critic so please note the difference. :)

Well, the story actually shows the basic reality that most people don't listen to children.

The story line is good. The happenings in the Baudelaire children's life were really unfortunate. The movie has a lot of twists and turns. The story was made out of intelligent direction. You can't really say that a scene was non-sense because every scene was a contribution to make the story complete and made the viewers get the whole picture of the story.

The characters were also well chosen. Jim Carrey as Count Olaf gave the role a twist since the book describe the count as someone very evil and treacherous (which will be very dull to watch), but Carrey portrayed him with humor that made the character lighter and more enjoyable to watch. The other casts like Emily Browning, Liam Aiken, etc. were also very good in delivering their characters.

The cinematography was just as good. The visual effects, costumes, and make up made the characters and story timeless.

All in all, its really a good movie. Too bad it don't have a sequel.
